I used to always watch “The Mandalorian” when it first came out, and it devastates me that one of the actors caused an outrageous controversy. Personally, I find it offensive how Gina could just post a terrible picture of Jewish women getting beaten like the Holocaust wasn’t traumatic. I agree on what you said when she could’ve talked to someone about her political views at the time. Then she would’ve known that the idea of posting that image is a bad idea.
ReplyDeleteStar Wars has always been one of my favorite series, seeing this out of one of the cast was devastating to me. There were so many ways that she could have gone about showing her distaste for political opinions and how people were separating themselves from others because of their political views. But I ask how is this different than what anyone has done throughout the history of this country? People have been separated since this country began, it shouldn't be a thing but it is and it's something that has to change but that was no way to go about it.
ReplyDeleteStar Wars was one of my favorite movies growing up but I never knew this happened.
